As for scrutineering...I don't see the need at regional level, not in the SW anyway...it only alienates racers who haven't invested in the 'approved' kit, and doesn't stop the fast guys being the fast guys....it's not like the old days of good nicads and brushes meaning the difference between making 5 mins or not, etc, etc.
Keep the rules open, the club officials free to run relaxed meetings and the racing fun I say  |
