1. 48dp would be the norm
2. Pinion to suit suggested gearing for motor, relative to spur
3. Fan's to suit really if your ESC getting hot yes if not no, or look at wether the gearing's correct.
4. Class specific if your racing stock then your limited to wind. If your racing modified then (and here's where I get slated) 7.5/8.5 2wd or 6.5/7.5 4wd should be ample outdoors.
5. 2wd/4wd fronts differ in width, current cars are allegedly going to be standard 12mm hexes across manufacturers but if you've got an older model wheel's maybe car specific.
6. To suit track and conditions best to carry a range of different weight's
7. As with oils
8. They can cab forward would give more front end than cab rear but kit shells are usually right for the application, some change them for looks or price when damaged most stick to what they have.
9. 2s 7.4s what you want I have seen 1s 3.7 used but that was only once in extreme conditions.
10. Wishbones, shock towers, for starts then caster blocks steering arms anything at an extremity some models break different things to others.

More people will chip in with their experience and advise I'm sure.
