rc18 spur gear??

hi, can any of you tell me if the team associated rc18 spur gear is the same fixing (at the main shaft) as the rc18r as my lil boys rc18r spur gear has been stripped and seems i can only get them from the US.
Any help will be great thanks

Hi there.

All the rc18 series car's are basically the same chassis/drive train but with different bodies and tyres.
Yes you can use the same spur gear as the rc18r.
I've used the " the toyz " web site and they have a good stock of parts for the rc18 cars. usually takes a few wks to arrive though.
