Cougar shell fitting
Ok, so I'm too lazy to seach the forum, how do you guys make it easier to get the Cougar shell on and off? I keep finding myself wrestling the shell / spur gear cover and it's starting to crack.

You're Lazy? PM me your address and I'll send you some stickers!
You wanna grind the 'notch' above the spur so it goes into the vertical bit, then it flexes a lot easier along the vertical. And, put on an 8mm chassis, that makes it a lot easier! |

As Simon said, just cut a bit of lexan around the spur gear and it won't be difficult anymore... |

Also when the shocks are in the rear there is no issue removing the body.

Cheers Cougar Hero's. Reversing the shocks? Ha Ha, I was toying with that as a tuning mod, now I see the benefit to fitting the shell and it's a done deal!
The 8mm chassis, you like? |

I agree!
And have a look to Cockerill Euro 2010 setup, it works pretty well on our dirt and loose tracks. |
