Default LRP Pulsar touch charger help

I have bought one these chargers in the post month or so and have noticed the following and wondered if others are getting this?

When charging a lipo battery it takes a long time to finish the charge as it seems run the mah down to really low like 0.09mah charge and seems to do a kinda trickle charge at end.

It's been charging great and never had pack run out it's just my old charger did the same charge in 25mins where as the LRP does it in 40mins

Is this normal for this charger ?

I've only used mine once but it does the same, I think it's balancing.

yeah I've noticed the same with mines, my pulsar 3 used to do my 4600 lipos in about 25 mins, now the touch takes, more than twice that. I tried it without the balancing lead plugged in but it made no difference, I'm struggling now to have my cells topped up inbetween heats at a club night, as I only have 2 packs.

Wonder if there is a way to turn off balance charging, although I would have thought, you would need to have the balance lead connected to actually balance charge ?

confused ...

Surely if it's only putting in small amounts of charge that late in the cycle it's 99.9% charged so just unplug it if you need to use it.
