Default B4.1 FT WC to Centro?

Is it possible to convert B4.1FT WC to Centro on the cheap? For example, rear tower/brace/wing mounts (£20 ebay) and mount the cross brace to the plastic chassis? The alloy chassis is on sale at End of Line RC for £9.99 now. Apart from hardware, anyone think it's do-able?

Hi,

It might be do able, you'd have to work out the figures.

But overall the B5m is a better and more durable car.
A second hand B5m could work out better in the long run.

As already said I'd go for a B5m. You can pick them up for around £120.

Centro chassis, wing mounts, brace and rear tower all sound cheap but you still need gearbox, lay shaft, idlers, idler shafts, earrings etc. It all adds up.

B5m all the way.

earrings? It's an option. I guess. "Accessory" would be a good way of describing....

Hmmm, what are the main differences between the C4.1 and C4.2 apart from gearbox (square looking) and the chassis (+8mm?)

Very tempted... What sort of price? (Pm?)
