Default Round 2 winter series @ Caldicot 18th December

As above, entries are open and are via the central booking system on www.wrca.org.uk

There will be teas, coffees, soft drinks as well as hotdogs, pasties, pot noodles, chocolate, crisps and more!

Doors will open at approx 8am with Practice starting at approx 9am. Can't tell you what time we will aim to be finished by as that will depend on entries

There is mains power, but bring an extension lead as you may not be able to pit right next to the socket!
There will be some pitting in the same hall as the track, other pitting available just outside in one of the other rooms.
Talking of pitting, please bring your own tables and chairs.

Track should be multi-surface & tyres most commonly used at club are Schumacher yellow mini-pins & mini-spikes.

Only 1 Rallycross, 1 Truck and 2 2wd Micros are entered so far, doesn't look good for these classes, no 18th 4wd entries at all

We have a couple of heats each for 2wd, 4wd 10th and 4wd 16th, but keep these entries coming

Entries 'close' this Thursday lunchtime, but I will email everyone who has entered a class with less than 6 entrants on wednesday to let them know about the low entries.

If there are 1ns and 2's in some classes cant they make a mixed heat if the drivers dont mind. Better to see them race than to stay at home.

Possibly Dave yes...my bet would be that the truck/rallycross entries will be those peoples 2nd class entries anyway...similarly the micro 2wd's, so fingers crossed it won't be a case of them not coming. As you say, wouldn't want to turn people away.

We'll probably discuss it with the entrants and see how they would prefer us to deal with it, either mixing them or not running them

They are second classes for the racers entered (bar one of the micro 2wd's) but yes, the email would be to give people some options to see how we can keep them all racing

2wd micros could easily fit into the 4wd micro heats... (1/16th scale that is).. I would happily run my 2wd micro in with the 4wd's - HARDCORE!

As above, people will be given options prior to the end of the week so they know what they will be racing.
However, if you know someone that has talked about racing but hasn't entered, tell them to get onto www.wrca.org.uk and get those entries in NOW!

Anyone thinking about coming but not sure.....enter anyway.....it's much quicker and easier to remove you from the listings on the day than add you in at the last minute.

Also...late entries won't be seeded, literally just put in the bottom heats as we'll have sorted everyone in the higher heats already by that point! So another good reason to get your entry in early...even if you then can't make it!
