Default Shock piston/spacer

Hello,

I need a spacer for my shocks made I am experimenting and I would like to reduce the travel of my shock.

Need 13mm spacer made for a big bore, who could do this?

Sure there was a few guys machining shock pistons would be hard to make a thick one

Help appreciated

Liam

Any washer that fits over the shaft can be used...
Is the 13mm the spacer length or diameter?

Yeah I guess I could use washers of some sort, just need them to be roughly the right size they would need to be 12mm diameter and 13mm in height and about 2/3mm centre dia (shock shaft size) if you know any that kinda size?

Thanks

Liam

Just buy a couple of packs of these; cheap as chips, lightweight, and you can experiment with how long you want them by adding or removing. They're used as shock down travel limiters in AE cars on Big Bore shocks so should fit yours?

Either what Adrewc has suggested or another option is some silicone fuel hose (from a nitro car) cut to the lenght(s) you require.
Do not go for 12mm dia, it will interfere with the way the shock piston work, it needs to be small enough skit stays inside if the piston hole pcd.
About 6/7mm ext dia is as big as you want to go.
What car is it?

A bit of super glue also works.
