Great meeting with the Rallycross and a huge 14 of us! Great to see

Get your shells polished, as I think I'll do a bit of a promotional video this coming weekend (31st of October)

Fairly sure this reply will seem quite random...!

My name is Andrew Coley, I'm the TV commentator for the FIA World Rallycross Championship, which makes me a very lucky chap IMO.

I've been a member on here since 2013; currently racing 10th scale buggies at the club me and two mates founded 2 and a half years ago down here in Hastings. I raced RC cars as a teenager, Tamiya, Schumacher, etc, left the sport for full size motorsport for nearly 20 years, and as above am now back and loving it again.

Just basically wanted to drop you a line and say how brilliant I think the series is, love the fact you do joker laps too, all mega!!

Congrats to all involved.

It's been a mega fun class so far, but it's popularity will soon see the competition become a bit more serious

You should come down and race with the guys sometime and maybe do a bit of commentating??

Hi Andrew .. you are indeed a VERY lucky chap

We are all HUGE fans of Rallycross RX and all follow it over on Quest

When we set the class up earlier this year our aim was to copy as close as possible the full sized version ... so we run sprint races for points, joker laps, spec tyres and no tyre warming so the first couple of laps is interesting !!!

Great to hear you follow us .. our FB page is here - https://www.facebook.com/groups/1153...78114543313837

If you're ever down our way come in and see us .. and if you could bring Petter, Seb and Mattias would be even better

Petter used to race Tamiya, there's an old video of him winning a Tamiya national series in Norway somewhere in youtube! : )

If I'm in your neck of the woods I'll give you a shout, likewise if any of you end up at a WorldRX round let me know and I'll do my best to show you round.

: )

We've had some great racing this year in Rallycross, and numbers are way beyond anything we could have expected and I have to say the racing has been out of this world .. and all the guys supporting us in this class have been great ... congrats to you all and thanks for coming along ..

So serious bit ... generally our rules have been loose ... kinda clubmans rules really ... and to be honest we don't really need many to make it work in Rallycross... The only one we really want to stick with, is tyres !!! So as of Jan 2017, GRP S4 compound tyres will be the only tyre allowed to be used for the championship. These as you all know are available trackside from RcOctane at approx £33 a set.
The only other addition to that is that we will all need to be running hardcase lipos as of April.

Now that is cool!! I am mighty mighty jealous and it's awesome to have your approval on our slightly smaller rallycross class Are we going to see Jenson Button on the grid with you guys next season?

As above, we would just like to reiterate that the control tyre for this class is the GRP Revo S4. We've seen some people go quickly on other tyres so we would like to keep the class as close as possible

We MAY introduce a wet tyre in the near future, but can you believe it or not we haven't had a wet meeting yet! We'll cross this bridge when we come to it

Video of the finals from Sunday to follow I believe!
