Question Team Drivers

what has happened to the UK team drivers or UK importers in answering queries on the Forums?

There seems a lack of response from them

Hi. This is because in the UK, there was no Team as such last season. This year the Team is being discussed towards the end of this month. The problem is with this being so late, is that the option of top drivers is minimal as most of them have already signed up for next year so hopefully for Kyosho they have already got some drivers lined up. They need some good drivers to help out on set ups and such. Hope this helps.

Stu is bang on there, a lot of people have already joined their new teams for next year - I know a lot of people who have got sponsored (at various levels) with Helger, and some with CML etc, and this was over the last few months, so there are very few drivers at the sponsorship level available for the smaller teams.

A big hinderance to the likes of Kyosho and Tamiya, are the fact these (huge) companies will have very little in the way of team support. And it is very nice to go race along side sponsored drivers to get help and advice, setups etc.
