Default Where to go next?

I currently drive an Ansmann Vapor which is my first car, it has served my learning curve well for around a year now and now I'm wondering what my next truggy might be?

Could anyone suggest/advise what would a good move forward in 1:8th nitro. I'm interested in maybe starting racing once I find a local track and get plenty of practise driving with others. (Reckon I'll go spectate at the Oople Invernation, to see how the race scene works)

Anyway what do people think as a realistic move?

Thanks

The best thing to do is find your local club and go along for a morning, talk to the other drivers, see what is the most popular car there. Take yours along, maybe you can race ?

They should be able to recommend something to you, if you buy something that others are running at the club they can help you with set up and also if you break something someone might be able to lend you a spare so you can keep going. Otherwise if you get something that no one else has then you might struggle with setting it up to be competitive and also if you break something that's your day over if no one can help you with parts.

Get on the BRCA website or the club section here and find your nearest track.

It a great track, dirt as well. You will need some altitude sickness tablets as Phil has found the only mountain in Lincolnshire The view is fantastic You will need some dirt tyres Crime fighters, bowties, revolvers etc.

I'll be sure to head down on Monday, as it happens I have the day off so I'll bring my car and my flask and have a bash around see what I can do.

Are many going to be there on Monday then?

Doubtful to be honest, with it being a work day. Maybe 5-10 max?
