Were these functions working on the last server? if so yes I'll look at it in the morning but if these were taken off for some other reason I'll need to find out why first. I don't see why it would be a problem though.

There was a reason for the report post function being disabled I think? Can't remember why though

I guess there was a reason maybe bandwidth related

Really annoying when someone responds to your thread but you don't realise

Nope, I believe both functions were taken off quite a while ago.

Just got home on the wifi and I'm on the new server, not sure if the 4G had moved over too yet

Edit: yep the 4G is still on the only server

I seem to remember the thread response was disabled too, or at least talking to Jimmy about it ages ago, seem to think it was about sheer volume of emails generated and the 1and1 server being a bit over sensitive and shutting down thinking it was a malicious attack? I'm sure we'll all cope without it though

well this server should be able to cope with quite a high volume of email, only problem I'm seeing at the moment is broken image thumbnails for new image uploads.

I'm currently rebuilding all the thumbnails on the server to see if that fixes it! this may take a few hours!

Update

62,355 image thumbnails rebuilt, 30k or so still to go
and yes this will be effecting the speed but I bet it still seems faster

Update

The rebuilt thumbs all have the same problem now so I'm working on a fix

The section mods get the report emails, and all admin (and super mods?) get all if I remember correctly.
Now I just have to remember which email it sends to...

I'm just in the process of changing the PHP version, trying to fix this thumbnail issue. You may see the forum become unavailable for a couple of minutes while this happens.

If you see loads of errors after, don't panic I can revert the config but this seems the best thing to try right now.

Image thumbnail issue has now been resolved, all new posts will display correctly straight away and all the old thumbnails are now being rebuilt so will be back to how it was in a few hours!

All Thumbnail images should now be back, if anyone spots anything else please post here.

The site should be back to full speed now the 90k thumbs have been recreated, still had plenty of overhead
