Its a pity that the majority of members here are from the UK, otherwise I would be there. Its gonna be a great event so make sure you post pics of the cars.

Ya I know, perhaps in the future we'll do one across the pond. I posted this one here because there actually are a lot of people in the US that read oOple myself included. I'll be sure to post pictures anyway. Thanks

Looks like a great event, we should do something outdoors with the vintage cars in the uk

Always a bit of a shame though to go for 27T limits, doesn't do the old cars justice

It all depends. Stock racing here was always much more popular then mod, especially when the cars didn't hook up like they do now. I made it stock just for the sake of keeping 15+ year old cars in one piece. The track is also indoor so no real need to run mod in there.

That looks like a fantastic track with facilitys to match ( that would need serious investment over here ).

Just needs a bar and then life would be complete

That is brilliant! A vintage national.. We got to have it here in Sweden too. What a kick to se some Hornets and grasshoppers battling on the track. Or some old AYK´s or..

I would be very tempted to run a Sand Scorcher or Rough Rider if it is vintage meeting why not go back to the very beginning. I hope you have a great event

Falcon! Yeah! the memories....

Who cares if it's got a rear suspension that is as hard as rock, or plastic dogbones that jump out of drivecups the size of coffee mugs, or steering that splayes out the front wheels about 30 degress on the tiniest bump, or a front-end held on by four dodgy coarse screws into soft plastic.

They just rock!

Best of luck with yours at the races!

My brother used to own one back in "the day", and we'd race it at the PORRA track in Foster City, California. 20 years later we've got another one (2 actually - one for parts), and it still rocks. There'll always be that distinctive Falcon sound from the plastic outdrives. Nice.

Id like to see some videos of this race if possible, maybe youtube or some other.
Another car Id like to see in this race is a Tamiya 80's Avante or Avante 2001.
Those cars are still red hot even today.

I'm going to be taking pictures and videos like crazy. Also RC Driver, Xtreme RC Cars, and RC Racer will all be covering the race so there is going to be plenty of coverage.

Default RC10 Team Car video

Here is an 8 minute main event last Wednesday where I raced my 17.5 powered vintage RC10 Team Car against the amateur 4wd class at RCHR where the Vintage Nationals will be held next month.
