Thumbs up setup

get a 60 oil in the front with blue springs. std piston (use the middle holes on the shock tower and wish bones for shock position.
-1 camber use the camber pick up on the inner side to make it as long as possible, this should take the snatch out of the turn.
1deg toe-in. this should take you in quickley but alow you to come out with no oversteer.

get a flu-yellow spring on the back with a 35oil in the shock std pistion. (use the 2nd inside hole on rear shock tower and 2nd hole on wishbone to place the shock body at the rear.
use -2 deg camber inner pickup on shock tower - middle pick up on upright block. use 2.5 toe-in block on the rear (standard)

this is how i've set mine up and it went well for me.

hope this helps.

reguards..Alan

trim a row off the inside and outside of the front tires, that should help alot, full mini pins if the front have too much grip, I use to run a full width rim with 1 row trimmed of the inside and outside with blue front springs, red rears and 55wt oil all around

Get rid of the mini pins up front, go for a staggered rib or something with less bite.

Change to black front springs and red rears.. sounds like you've got more grip than what to do with.. which generally on carpet with a rear motor car is 'hard' to acheive! -well done! 'normally' xxx-cr's have trouble generating enough front end grip!

It's been a while since I have driven a XXXcr but came across the following when having a sort out the other day, it was from running nimh's, but might be a good starting point:

Front
35wt oil
#56 piston
blue piston spring
Shock position outside on arm 2 on tower
1mm limiter fitted
Camber link position 2 B with 2mm under bulkhead ballstud
spindle height bottom
Camber -1 deg
Ride height wishbones level
short vla

Rear
30wt Oil
#55 piston
Red Springs
Shock position outside on arm 2 on tower
Camber link 3 E with 1mm washer under hub ballstud
2.5 Degree anti squat
long wheel base
Camber -1
Ride height driveshafts level
short vla

Mini Pins all round, two outer and one inner row of pins removed from front and rear tires.

I've also got a note about running a ballstud on the front hub kingpin instead of B on hub. Think this required some filing of the hub, and then mount the camber link in hole 3 on the bulkhead.
