Default B6D to B6 conversion parts????

Hi All,

Looking to buy a B6 but was thinking about buying a B6D (mostly becuase there in stock at CML were as the B6 are not) and then buy the extras to convert it to the B6.

Which would also mean i have the option of both cars when it comes to racing outdoors on wet astro/ grass or dirt.

Does anyone know what parts would be need to convert it over fully (not just gearbox)

From what i can tell this is what i would need so far.

TEAM ASSOCIATED B6 LAYDOWN TRANSMISSION CONVERSION - £32.99
ASSOCIATED B6/B6D GEAR DIFFERENTIAL KIT - £39.99
ASSOCIATED B6 KIT FRONT SHOCK TOWER, GULL WING - £20.99
ASSOCIATED B6 KIT GULL WING FRONT ARMS - £8.49

Am i missing anything as so far for an extra £100 ish i can have both cars.

Thanks
Michael

If your looking to build it up as a swap one gear box out for the other you might want to look at a few more parts.

Bearings, topshaft and screws.

1 x AS91560 (5x10x4 bearing)
1 x AS91132 (Gear shaft)
1 x 91563 (10x15x4 bearing)
1 x 89203 (M3 x 16 screws)
1 x AS91710 (Top shaft)
1 x AS91605 (Axel shim for diff)
1 x AS25202 (M3 x 10 screws)

If you wanted a total laydown box your looking at the slipper assembly too.

Thanks

Default Springs!

B6d very soft so harder springs and thicker oil for the front.

I believe the shock towers are slightly different for the flat arms as well.....

Thanks all

Looks like it might be worth doing as it means I have access to both cars for only about £120

Thanks
Michael

I guess the main issue I thought of was converting it while at a meeting if it starts to rain wonder how easy it would be?

Don't think it would take that long to be fair, club meets yes then it would not bother me.

My other thinking is it also means I don't need two lots of electrics if you have two cars

The shell is cut out differently around the gear box, you'd need two shells I believe.

Default Shell

You can use the same shell for both as I was running a b6/b6d mashup until i bought a b6D as well. It just looks a bit tatty.

Both cars are in stock at Modelsport unless you've got a team drive
