Yes the blue ones fit fine. I'll be having the black ones though ;-)

I made some weights for the car to be able to get it tuned in on any surface.

All the chassis weights that are shown weigh all together 76g. These weights are made from special material which weights around double compared to steel.

The one under the battery weigh 52g

Of course i made few extras of all the weights

They look absolutely spot on those weights. Would you be interested in making any to sell?

Cheers

They look fantastic.

If you have enough could I bother you for a set?

Same as above, pm your details and I'll get you sorted out.

Hi guys, have just finished building the YZ2, very impressed with the quality. I have some questions if any of you are able to help.

Managed to butcher 1 side of the battery holder post and m3 x 25 Set screw.

I've found the battery holder post online but no joy with the set screw (ZS-SS325). Does anyone know where I can get it from or should I just contact local engineering supplies?

Schumacher staggers don't seem a great fit on the front wheels, I've got them on but they look really stretched.

Do I need additional springs/weight oils than the kit supplied?

I'll be mainly running on Astro indoors so I'm assuming yellow minispikes on the rear with inserts and staggers on the front with no insert?

If anyone can think of anything else I'm likely to need please let me know, I've a growing shopping list here and I'm eager to hit the track sometime soon.

Thanks

Cut the inner rim off the front wheel to make it narrow, don't run it as it comes. No insert front, schumacher blue med rear.

As for springs, they are too soft for Astro the kit springs. On carpet Lee Martin has been running Yatabe Black on the rear (YAS-1000) and Yatabe Yellow (YAS-825), on the front.

Can't remember what kit oil is, dependent on the bumpiness of the track, if its smooth to bumpy, could go 400cst front, 300 rear. If its smoother you could up it a little.
