Default 25mm lipo

Hi all.

If you want to use 25mm lipos in the DEX410 do you only need the new battery holder set or do you also need the new motor mount plate?

Anyone tried yet?

Hi.
You need the motor mount plate and the slipper mount (battery side) from the 'R'. You'll also need the battery strap and rear drive-shaft angle brace. We'll be doing a walkthrough for existing 410 owners on what you need and 'how to'.

There will also be an optional Alloy slipper mount.

Keep your eyes on the tips and tricks section of the blog.

Well I'm afraid I'll do some irreversible damage if i try raising everything myself and I don't mind byuing stuff

Would be nice to see some pics if anyone done it on their own though.

To fit 25mm lipos to the current DEX410 you need the following;-

New parts:-

TD310155 MID DRIVE GEAR PLATE (ALUMINIUM) (25MM)
TD310156 MOTOR MOUNT PLATE (25mm)

Revised parts:-

TD310039 GEAR BOX SET: FRONT & REAR
TD310005 BATTERY HOLDER SET (LIPO)

The new motor plate and mid drive gear plate raise the slipper assembly and the new gearbox sets angle the diffs a little more to raise the driveshafts at the diff end. The new battery holder set has a couple of shims to raise the mount at the clip end.

I hope this answers your question

The R kit is capable of fitting 25mm lipos.

The only difference between this list of parts and what you get in the R kit is that the mid drive gear plate is moulded plastic in the R kit.

I´m sorry to bring this thread up again. I just built my 410R according to the manual and tried to fit my 5000 LRP Lipos but they just won´t fit. I built everything as in the manual suggested but the plastic part that is needed to upgrade the 410 to 25mm lipos is not used in the manual of the "R". Did i build something wrong? Please help as i run out of ideas on this problem...

Yes of course. I now know what i did wrong. If you mount the rear side of the lipo holder like in the manual suggested it´s for the under 25mm lipos. There are two holes and i did put the pin in the lower hole. I removed it, put it in the upper and...tada it worked!
