Newbie to brushless 17.5t questions
hi. Apologies in advance lol.
I'm just returning to rc racing and the class runs stock 17.5t motors. The last time I raced I was rebuilding and tuning 27t brushed motors. I look online and see motors from 22 quid to over 100 quid. Is there really a difference in performance or is it quality and partly brand name I'm paying for.

Zen Racing currently have the Hirosaka (made by Speed Passion) 17.5 on offer at £35.99. That's a Speed Passion motor for under 36 notes; you'll struggle to find a better price new.
I have the Hirosaka 13.5 and am very pleased with it. Runs strongly - doesn't fade badly at the end of a race - and has been easy to set up and run. HTH |

Oh I always thought that Masami Hirosaka was a Reedy driver and his range of motors also came from the same factory, glad I haven't repeated my thoughts anywhere else!!!

Hirosaka products are from Masami-san's father Masaaki-san. Masaaki Hirosaka also works part time for Kyosho.
Masami-san still works for Yokomo I believe. |
