Default TRF201/502X 48 Pitch Spur Gear (79T) (part #51415)

Hi,

I'm looking for the TRF201/502X 48 Pitch Spur Gear (79T) (part #51415) in aluminum but can not find it does anyone know if this part exists in aluminum and where can I buy it?

Why would you want it in aluminium? Tamiya's aluminium motor pinions show how quickly that can wear. The plastic should last longer and as long as you have a good mesh and don't completely tighten your slipper the teeth shouldn't strip either. And this is without taking rotational mass into the equation, an aluminium spur can alter the handling (like using a flywheel on an X6, though the actual effect may differ).

Yes, you are right. The change is only for image

If it's just for image why don't you just paint the plastic one with "aluminum" colour spray paint?

Yes, it is a possibility, but, if it is possible, I prefer in aluminum ^^U
