You need to read this and see what can be used at your club.

Default Gloucester Transponders

Hi there… There has been quite a bit of chat on this and at the moment things are in a transition mode.
To keep things simple here goes:..
If you want to run at Gloucester ERCC then you will be able to use all the old transponders AMB/MRT and this is unlikely to change for many years as we have no intensions of changing our lap scoring system.
Our closest larger club “Chippenham Model Car Club” have the ability to upgrade but have chosen not to this year as it was going to upset too many of their members and the people who come from all over the country to run at the CWIC event.
The BRCA 1/10 Touring car section have confirmed there will be no change this year so all BRCA Nationals will be able to continue as they have done every year..
Also the Schumacher BTCC will be sticking to the old system..
HOWEVER!! If you plan to run away from us you may need to go for the new transponder.. You will need to check with the club you plan to frequent the most.
The hope is that MRT will over the next year come up with a transponder which will work on the new system and then the Touring Car section will be able to upgrade however Gloucester ERCC will still be sticking to the old for now..
Hope this helps
