SUNDAY 22nd July 2wd Rnd 5 TEESSIDE at Preston Park

For more information regarding he Timetables etc, please refer the the below link:
http://www.oople.com/forums/showthread.php?t=93048

I am sure someone from Teesside can provide information, however Teesside Regional will be held @ Preston Park Stockton.

I would imagine Camping & Caravanning is available, and from previous years there has been a small charge.
There is onsite Toilets available, and Catering.

Please can you ensure your all booked in beforehand, this just makes it a little bit easier on the day!

Thanks,

What's the plans if this horrendous weather keeps up? Will the grass around the track be ok to pit on etc? Really hope it will still be on but with this weather I wouldn't be surprised if its off??

Been down on Monday and the area was pretty good. I've seen it worse. No puddles in the hollows.
The track should be OK unless its totally under water. Pitting may need to be on the hard standing. Tents I'm not sure about.
That's unofficial of course.
Will keep everyone informed and a decision will made nearer the time by the appropriate people.

Hi All
Just a bit of info for Preston park, the ground looks pretty good at the moment so should be ok.
If it starts raining heavy again we might have to put caravans and cars on to the hard road surface next to the field but as Stewart says the weather is looking pretty good for the weekend, fingers crossed,

Can people who plan on bringing caravans down please inform me on this thread or email me at gwaller35@hotmail.com just so i can get a good idea of numbers.

Any body planning on arriving on the friday please could you arrive after 4pm.

Main gates will be locked at about 9.30pm.

There will be food avalable but only at the main cafeteria, there is food places nearby though like KFC, McDonalds, Pizza hut and many more.

Sorry but NO bbqs are allowed thats the rules set by Preston park, sorry!

Unfortunately there is a £5 charge for camping sorry but again its the rules set by Preston park.

For those who have never been to Preston park regional before, as soon as you drive through the main gates you want to turn right so your driving round the back of the butterfly world, carry on following the road round and you will see us in the far left of the field.

Any more info you can pm me on here or email me.

Just 1 more thing, this park is open to the public so please dont leave your pitting area unattended or just keep a eye out, thank you.

Hi guys,

Are there still spaces available for this meeting? As a Scots driver, Ive entered a local meeting for Sunday, but as the weather forecast is "keek" and I'm looking to trial two new cars, I'm looking at alternative race meetings.

I'm approximately 160miles away, but the opportunity to give both cars an outing in better weather would be worth the journey!

Cheers

Hi Gaz, I'll be bringing the Caravan, arriving around 17:30 Friday. See you there, looking forward to it. Chris. ... the kids are looking forward to terrorising the butterflies in Butterfly world.

Spaces available for lots more. Would you be racing for points in the NE region? If not then you would not get a final run, unless there were other non-regionals (none at present)

Well done Craig collision on his win and TQ today! I think that wraps first place up for the series in 4wd? Also, well done to Greg, you pushed craig at every round! Unlucky to you for 2nd, Maybe next year?! I'm sure that nobody can overtake Greg in the series to take 2nd??!!

Looking forward to swing how david Pack does tomorrow with his new Durango 210, watch out those lads and lasses, there will be shock oil all over the track as he doesn't know how to build shocks properly
