Default Help with changing a sensor cable in a Novak velociti

Can someone tell me if it is possible to replace the sensor harness in a novak velociti motor ( the non ribbed can version). I have taken a close look and can't see how this is possible as the cables go right inside the back of the motor, even after taking the black plastic back off it. Thanks.

It's possible, I've done one about 12 months back. It's a bit of a mission. You have to de-solder the field windings to get access. Think I posted on here somewhere.. here is a bit more info. http://www.oople.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31439

Thanks Dazzler, I'm first waiting for a new motor to arrive which will help me figure out if it's the motor or speedo at fault. It may be that I don't need to do this.
