Default My Optima Mid Custom with DanB4 tribute bumper

Took a little time today to finish off the mid custom
Wasn't in a bad state when it came to me but me being me i had to do a few bits to it

Decided to keep it brushed for a little while so stuck in the awesome Tekin fx esc with Orion Revolution 11x3 motor & high spec Sanwa servo, this will do nicely while i test the car although this combo may stay as i prefer the feel of brushed motors on the track

Have added Rama's layshaft with vented slipper plates & RW spur, Thorp diff out drives, Pargu alloy front c hub & rear hanger, Kyosho uj front driveshafts, alloy steering(maker unknown), new belt, new bearings, aftermarket centre gear, carbon Kyosho towers, b44.2 saddle trays with carbon straps, new hingepins, Fibrelyte top deck & motor brace & of course the best bit the DanB4 bumper
If anyone else would like a bumper the same they are available from Shapeways
https://www.shapeways.com/product/5Q...ionId=63489462

Am on the lookout for some velvet shocks for it but for the time being these cat sx ones will have to do, am also after anti roll bars for it, have all the fixings just not the bars, turbo turnbuckles would be nice as well

I don't normally do box art & wanted to be a little bit different so went for the Kamtec bodyset sprayed yellow with decals from Mci in blue instead of box art red
Just waiting on a new gear cover & 2.0 minispikes to arrive & she can hit the tracks

Can you please mention a bit about fitting the b44.2 saddle trays? I have two Optimas that I would love to fit saddles to, and this seems like a brilliant way!

The B44.2 saddle trays are a direct fit into the car with no drilling needed as they lineup with existing holes hope that helps

I bought B44 trays too back in 2015, by Dan's suggestion, but It have not fiited them till today, because I used my own which pushes the saddles forward.
