Default Weather for Sunday

Hi Stuart, i've been checking out the weather forecast for this week and Sunday.

Yesterday at Southport the field were we pit had large areas which were flooded and unusable, fortunatly there were still large areas we could pit on and the track was perfect, so the day worked out very well.

It's a long way for us guys to travel from SRCC so can you confirm if the track is grass only or a combination of surfaces?
How is the track looking now in respect of the recent heavy rain and can you give me an realistic idea what you think the track will be like for Sunday, E.G muddy or can it handle the rain well?

Any info would be appreciated.

Tommy

If you put 54.326657, -2.738592 into google it takes you to the waste recycling centre entrance. I presume it’s by the car park next to it. Can someone from South Lakes confirm this.

Hi guys there is a car park next to the field for parking if required . If you do use this please DO NOT JUMP THE FENCE PLEASE . The ground is ok after rain it drains well. We have been dropped in it at the last minute with our other venue we are making a bit effort to make the area ready for sunday starting friday morning . It is a full grass track that we will be racing on with jumps and a grass bank to play on . As has happened before its likely we are going to have some rain as we are in Cumbria after all (i do hope not tho) . There is a post on the north west pages with the google info . Ill try and post up some photos on friday night if possible .

Stuart, can you advise if we will be able to buy refreshments at the track on Sunday, or do we need to take our own?
