I don't believe there is one sub £200 I think the futaba 3gr is good for the money £189

All the rest are way over £200 and the circa £75 etronix, code etc etc are all the same units with different badges on I've had a code handset when they first came out and found it unpropoitional

Thanks for the advice, but getting futaba means changing all my receivers and thats too expensive.

Wouldn't a spektrum dx6i work?

It would work, but you will need to fiddle around inside to fit a return spring as the throttle is on a ratchett

Spektrum code their air and surface system different, so your rx won't work with a dx6i tx

"Compatible With Any Existing DSM And DSM2 Receivers"
Don't know if that is for the car receivers aswell though?

Get a 2nd hand spektrum module and bung it in the back of a 2nd hand futaba 3vc/s or a futaba ff3 or sanwa/ok vantage..job done
My setup 3vc and module cost me £75 all in and I've had it for years and its never let me down..

Yes but as I'm led to believe Spektrum code them !
DSM or DSM2 and DSMX are their types of modulation, like Futaba FASST or FHSS.

I also believe this subject has been asked before on oOple.

All Surface RX's begin with a code of SR****
All Air Type RX's begin with a code of AR****

Hi Nasir, I have just had my DX6i open to have a look and it looks as though you can swop both joysticks over so giving you a spring return throttle and spring return steering, no need to do anything else. Unfortunately I do not have a land rx to try with it.
