The chassis looks the business but at that price there must be a catch. I want one.

thanks.
there looks to be 2x part-numbers for the lower front arms.

Is BM-008FH the "hard" version of BM-008F?
Any benefit to this- stronger?

That's exactly what they are. I have a set but never used them. I'd imagine they'd take away the flex slightly.

Are there any after market spurs that fit the bmax? Rw? Kimbrough?

My car squeals like a banshee. Even more under braking. I've already put some tape between the bearing and centre spur holder. Suspect it could be due to the spur ..

A couple of basic things to check, I dont want to tell someone how to suck eggs but check the following:

Does the spur look ok?
Are you using an old pinion?
Is the slipper set correctly? Mine sometimes churps on acceleration and braking especially on high grip but doesn't continually slip.

Hi mate, thanks for the tip.
pinion = brand new.
spur = not so new. i thought 1 or 2 teeth looked chipped (eye-sight not the best).
i adjusted the slipper setting at the track but it didn't help. It was a loud plastic-ky squeal. If anything, it reminded me of the horrible sound when your motor moves and start stripping the spur. anyway, i noticed that the rotation was very notchy & loud when moving the car on the floor (with electrics switched off).

swopped over to another spur (a spare spur was more suited for stock 4wd rather than the 6.5T i had in the car now) and presto, no more squeals.

ordering a new spur soon ..

Does one of the new holes hit the cut-out for the spur?
if so, did you use spacer to fill the gap?

Yes one hole is half over the spur recess, I didn't bother with a spacer as there is still enough of the chassis to land on and it's all held together nicely anyway.

I just realised i opened this thread, and just now i bought my B-Max 4III.
That happens when you have limited budget... never mind.

I inform everyone that on newer batches the new shock bottom cap is included. Smooth shocks out of the box!

Build went awesome. Having built and owned the b-max4 II, a lot of things were the same, and those different were easier (begone *&@#*@& upperdeck).

Can't wait to run her!

has anyone used the Gokuraku wing? Do you know what's the width?
It's described as "narrow wing" but I cannot find any specs for it ..

Those wings come with the car.

The new wings are not available yet.
