Default Help Needed Please

Ok so tonight I went racing and gave up because every corner I took the turn buckles decided to pop off even when I didn't hit something. So I have decided to bet the Kyosho turn buckles and balls. Has anyone done this mod and of so know the size or part numbers I will need??. I know Durango are bringing the new ones out but I cant go another week putting buckles on 5 times in a race.

Many thanks

Tom.

I used the AE rod ends and balls on mine and problem solved, you still use the Durango turnbuckles.

I boiled my TD cups and if they start popping off a few times I look at replacing them.
I have ran with them nearly the whole season and think they work great.

I have tried the AE cups and balls. Have a search here there are quite a few threads but they will all be earlier

I'm using RPM cups and AE Ti Nitride balls (the metric ones), works well. Better than the stock ones.

Still replace all the cups every now and again.

Just need to spend 20 minutes with a vernier to work out the shaft lengths and if they are long or short neck balls!

As OneKiwi says, there are a good number of threads about this already, some with part numbers.

I used 3Racing 4.3mm sized (HPI balls are 4.3mm as well) and Losi rigid ball cups. After 2 seasons of racing none have popped off and there's no slop what so ever.

TD ones are rubbish.

I've gone the RPM ball socket and T.O.P. Racing Titanium balls on mine and they dont pop off at all. You can use the TD links, no need to change them.
