Ok guys, the 3mm ceramic balls are a slightly smaller size ball but never the less do fit but do not slot in unlike the original size. they feel nice as well when all attached.

Only issue is the thrust race as the associated B4 thrust race doesnt fit and is way too big so now need to work out what ceramic thrust I can get thats not wider than 1.3mm.

Still good news my latest design rear gearbox CF sides are perfect so have now finished that totally. Im now working on the pivot blocks.

I ordered some 3mm ceramic balls too, glad to hear that they can be used, is there another size that would actually be the right size?

Speaking of pivot blocks, did you get your replacements from the guy in China, I didn't and they should have come in by now

I just emailed him now, see if he replies

By the sounds of it you would be getting some more stuff from Fibrelyte soon so I contacted Stephen about the parts he needs to make for me that you will pass on with the other items you have for me there, hopefully he can get onto them soon

I believe I may have the solution to the ceramic thrust balls. I found that the 2mm or 5/64 associated thrust balls were too big but its possible that the 1/16th size may fit so have bought a set to test. Lets hope.......

Get the BRG-100 for the zx5 contains 8 small trhust balls and 2 washers

WBD -2 contain 8 small thrust balls and 2 washers

First version zxr.

Also theres a lot of AR alloy bits on ebay worldwide such as castor blocks and a purple motor plate for a mk1 zx/zxr.

I will measure the diameter tonight.

On another front the 1/16 of an inch ceramic thrust balls from much more do fit. Ive put in a total of seven but is possible the eighth will also fit, which if i have time will redo. It feels smooth but as ive tightend all the way up its not yet free enough as it needs running in.
