I will post on here but it will be a last minute one, the concern is that the tractor trailer unit could do a lot of damage to the track. To be honest, we don't need a massive turn out for taking delivery of the astro, but laying it is a massive job, and we will need as many peeps as possible to help out.

Could the tractor not deliver to the edge of the track without going onto it..?
I realise it would need manhandling from there...

It will be quite a big unit and he will need to turn round somewhere , we can't risk damaging the football pitch and obviously the more astro we get delivered we will have less space to put it until we need to lay it , once it's all there we can look at any damage then those areas have to have some Tarmac plainings put down then wacked level , the astro will be layed over the areas that need it most first of all so we can hold meetings again ASAP , it will have to be done in stages as it's such a massive job

I've cancelled the astro delivery for tomorrow , after talks with the farmer it was agreed that his tractor trailer unit would cause too much damage , we are hoping for next sat instead now fingers crossed

How long are you anticipating people being there? I am committed until at least 11, but if there will still be stuff going on after that I will try to work out whether my wife can cover the various activities with kids on her own. Don't think any are at parties...
