Exclamation JORCR Summer Series Rnd 4 - Tues 25th Aug

Post your chat for round 4 here. You can also let me know if you want booking in.

Also I have worked it out, on automatic with 2 mins between heats, prompt 7pm start we could fit 4 rounds + finals in by 9.15pm.

Opinions please, do we want to be rushed and get the extra racing or prefer the more relaxed 3 rounds + finals.

Let me know.

I will turn up and fetch the bugs if round 1 gets corrected.

Not sure if i will be there but i reckon that 4 rounds is a must. We rush round if we have 3 rounds so if we have time we may aswell rush around and have 4!

Good luck team mates.

Default A few Notes

Just a few points for tomorrow...

1. Could anyone who is there earlier make an effort to get the rostrum out of the trailer, I wouldn't want to leave it until next week and be rushing. Everything has to be packed away neatly for term starting the following Monday

2. The ropes and jump will have to be moved to one side, because the touring cars are in on Sunday, so we do have to start at 7pm if we are to fit in 4 rounds. Just a courtesy between clubs.

Why do we need the rostrum out of the trailer?

cos it belongs in the cupboard. the cupboard needs to be all neet and tidy before start of school.

I would rather organise a seperate night to go up and sort it all out. then we're not eating into valuable track building, or racing time...

I'll be there. 4 rounds sound good. Now the whinge, can we have volunteer marshalls for the 1st round of 4wd as there are usually only 3 2wd drive drivers and one can't marshall.

I think we should try the straight diagonally through the hall tonight. I liked the up the wall feature last week. Why dont we try a through the cupboard feature. Drive in one door and out the other...???

No No you have to think outside of the box ! What about the rosterm in the middle ? With the jump facing us and we can pick off each other with head shots !

TCP. it smelt expensive. Novak rubish (IMO). You cant go wrong with LRP or nosram. Touch wood.

Looks like the 511 is not only the euro champ but the jarrow champ also...

On that subject the results are up......

http://www.jarrowrc.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/index.htm

It does indeed look as though Stephen will win the series, but if he doesn't race and Jeff were to TQ and win Round 5 then he could pip him by one point

Enjoy

Well DMS has said that hobby horrizon will most likely say that the clogging that my car was experiencing in my warm up lap will have been a loose sensor wire. This loose sensor wire will have created very high temps and fryied the motor and in turn the esc. This will then be most likely be deemed as improper use and thus voiding the warranty. Sounds like if this happens it's a bit of a copout ?
