The only thing I had to do was fit the flanged bearings and shim to take the end float out.
And the plastic main gears had some flasing on one side, which I trimmed.away by running a knife down the angle.of every tooth to clear it. Simple.

I know others have used a M8 washer and dremeled the life out of ot to save on loads.of shins or buying new bearings

I used the 2wd SC10 diff but after about 8 meetings the differnce in the gear mesh finally gave up!

The outdrives are the same diameter, and the main gear has the same no of teeth how is the mesh out?

I am led to believe that the diameters are slightly different so the teeth don't quite mesh full!

It was the same with the arrma diff that was close to the right size that people got before the TD one was released and like me mashed the idle gears etc.
Why not just get the original TD diff its what its designed for and now that the width problems are sorted its a perfect fit.

But it would be good with a marking of some sorts on the cover so you could know at a glance which side the gears go into.
Ive taken off the wrong side a couple of times.. frustrating

The overall diameter of the SC10 gear diff is slightly smaller than the Durango gear diff diameter. I have both.
