Default Turnigy to a "BRAND"

evening all.
Im currently weighing up a new motor.
I have run turnigy motors since returning three years ago.
currently use a 6.5 in an XB4.
There is plenty of speed but am struggling low down out of hairpins
Has anyone experienced going from turnigy to say a reedy or hobbywing.

I've tried a bit on the speedo settings but it just turns into a nutter on the throttle

thanks

paul

When you say low down, do you mean it's lacking torque to drive out of the hairpin? What did you change on the ESC that turned it into a handful?

You could try balancing it out with more punch on the ESC and wind the slipper off a bit.
