London 2012 - Making me angry allready - Rant

I doubt i will get any sympathy but thanks to the olympics i may not be able to race this summer.
All of the A roads near me are 1 lane only so that 'special' traffic can get quick access, and anyone that has ever used the A12 or the blackwall tunnel can imagine how much fun that will be.
The road i live on used to have free parking when the olympics start i will have to pay to park outside my own house. But its not just 2 weeks! they have made it chargeable from June until October.
I have also been told to expect delays on the tube line of up to 1 hour for each leg of my journey everyday as i live the stop before the main stadium.
But its ok because i managed to get tickets...actually no i didn't as no priority was given to local residents.
So thankyou for ruining my summer LOCOG

I've booked the two weeks off that the olympics are on. Might be able to swing my working hours to start earlier and finish earlier as well.

As all the racing on a Sunday starts early I wouldn't think there would be too much traffic in the early morning. It may be more difficult than usual to get home, but at least you will havee tthe memories of your days racing to keep you happy!

Cheers DC always nice to look for the brighter side of things.
May be entertaining getting back home as you say!

I can't change my working hours or work from home which is what causes me some problems, we are letting as much of the admin side work from home which will at least make the building more peaceful!
