Default Returning to racing!!!!! (again LOL)

Hello all I am looking at coming back racing next season just doing 2wd club meets at Southport and Bury and mybe regionals.
I have a few questions regarding equipment please. The Couger KC looks good I have seen a couple for sale on here I know Schum have brought a new one out will there still be spairs suport for the KC.
Seed controls and motors are they still rated as winds or KV now I want what was a 7.5 is there an equivalent kv and should i go censored or sencorless.
Transponders do they all work on club amb systems now or do you have to contact the club you want to race at.
Batterys looks like the shorty seem to be the one to have is this right.

Thanks in advance all

Spen

hi
kc is a very good car, and a fair few spares cross over to the new car so you should not struggle.
7.5 will be a good choice, not many use the kv now to sell motors, definatly go sensored, give far better control.
you will need a shorty to make the most of the kc layouts

As for transponders if you go for the newer MRT or Mylaps "Harry" you should be good to go at most clubs you visit.

make sure its a later MRT or upgraded one if you are going to bury as the older ones wont work. Check on their forum page if you are unsure

ones that work are the new one black case moulded mrt or black case gold writing and led flashes twice on power up.
