Default 2wd ballistic fronts ??

has anybody had any size / fitment issues with these tyres? i seen a set mounted today, and they looked a terrible fit and the lad using them, also said they felt shit on the track and he wont be using them again, i've never tried them myself, and dont think i'll bother after today.

Didn't get wet enough for them to work today.

I think the tread pattern and compound are just right, but unfortunately the profile is too big, they are far bigger (looks at least 1/4 inch) on overall diameter than a scheuy mini spike.

The fit to the wheel doesn't seem great. The bead is very wide, so needs a bit of trimming, and also very tall so the tyre looks to stand out of the rim.

Whilst I normally prefer Shuey fronts too you should be able to get them to fit ok. Trim the bead and use a rubber band to compress it into the wheel before sealing the edge with glue.

It wasn't wet enough for them Dan. I was really amazed how quick the track dried out after that downpour. I stayed on yellows in the end and they were fine.
