So there I am on eBay looking for some anti-Pledge tyres :D and spot these interesting 25 shores - http://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/e11051.m43.l1123/7?euid=70f0159777744c3fbe6936414cf23037&loc=http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem%26item%3D121081246671%26ssP ageName%3DADME:X:RTQ:GB:1123

But... will they fit my car? Time to send a question to the seller:

Me: "Do these fit the Losi Mini 8ight?"

RC-Bitz: "Sorry these are too small, they are for the 14th scale cars."

So am I missing something? I thought Losi Mini 8ights are 1/14th scale?

Anyhoo, does anyone else know whether these will fit size / hex-wise? Ta.

The Carisma GT14 is a 1/14th scale touring car, the wheels and tyres are much smaller than for a 1/14th buggy, just like 1/10th touring car wheels are much smaller than for 1/10th buggies.

The outside diameter of those tyres is smaller than the diameter of mini 8ight wheels.

1/10 touring car foams are what you need. Contact tyres are good. Think you were looking at mardave/supastox wheels there.

I have seen those before, but like the Enettis and RPMs that I have already, I'm struggling to find anything softer than 37 shore (hence why I was interested in the 25 shore ones advertised).

Considering how popular the Mini 8ight and similar cars are, I'm amazed how few soft tyre choices seem to exist, even worldwide.
