I pulled an all nighter and came up with this thing, took about 4 hour to complete, all parts are losi, some have been cut and trimmed to fit, but all losi

Looks good, but what about the bracing? Your rear end will be as floppy as a flip flop without any additional bracing.

Also, your motor will need to run backwards now, but don't just turn your bellend 180degrees as then your timing will be retarded and not advanced. It'll all run extra hot even once you got the motor timing right for the direction.... that why you ought to cut the gearbox, and put the layshaft in from the other side and monted the motor plate on that side too.

Crack open the Pro-plus & have fun ;)

im just going to solder postive to negative, and vice versaas for a brace, I just made one out of and aluminum post, and a cut battery strap, it seems pretty durable. i'll keep ya posted on it handles

Looks interesting.
I can't work out how the batteries will sit.
Also, apart from just the accomplishment, what gains do you hope to see for the time invested? I sit for fun or ar yo going to race it?

So many questions...

I just got back from the track, and after a couple hours of driving i got to say it handles pretty well, although i was still doing faster laps with the b4. Personally i think its better than the stock xxx, but i think with some suspension changes i think it can be pretty good Also here is a pic on race day you can see how the battery is mounted(just tape for now lol) and also where all the electronics go (sorry about the blurry pic, its from a camera phone)

Got to hand it to ya!
To make such a radical change to an accepted design, and get it running in a weekend is some going.
Hope youget to finish it of and have some success.;)

xx4-nutter- as for a battery mount i plan to use a couple of modified xxx4 batt mounts. Belive it or not the tape accually holds up pretty well, but its just temporary.

Northy- The batteries are already as far back as then can go, if they go any farther back they're going to be on the motor, although next week i am going to move the cells closer and see how that works, also i'm going to dremel the heck out of the chassis today and make some batt slots, try and lower down that center of gravity a bit

Philly- thanks I hope to get it finished soon as well, i already had some success in it (kinda) i won the b-main on sunday, ussally im in the a main, but for running a project car i think its pretty good. Also i woke up late and was only able to get 1 run of practice in before the races.

This is so important and makes the biggest change you are going to get with the car, as i have found with the mid motor cars i am working on, get them cells almost touching the motor ;)
