How about organised practice days James....with timing equipment?? Now that would be good.

I can see a few days off work coming up

Hey chris..

Problem with timed practice days at the moment is there is only one set of timing equipment that york have. As you can imagine it's an expensive set of equipment to purchase. So someone from york would need to be there to bring and setup the timing shizzle..

I was just kidding to be honest. Im hoping to pop down sometime as its my local track! 2 and a half hours plus!!

Its a great track. Can people post here when they are planning to attend? It will be miles better if theres a few people going. What do we do about the ropes to mark the track?

How much is timing equipment then? What about this cheaper lap system that has been discussed on oOple??
Could there not be a yearly membership set up to allow track access and maybe raise the funds to buy a system??

Just a thought

God? Didn't take you as religious Tel? ;)

Infact, the track isn't 100% usable at the moment, but should be after this Saturday - Tel, you can come and help! :D
