Hi,
I am a faithful AE driver (not sponsored) over the last couple of years, and have found R. Lowe's setups brilliant as a starting point.
I am intrigued to know how the shock tower holes match up on the B44 (2 holes), compared to the BJ4 (3 holes)?
Can anyone shed any light on this?
Thanks,
Richard Lowe

Hi Mark :)
The inner holes are the same on both cars, and the BJ's middle holes = B44 outer. So my usual inner-front and middle-rear is like inner-front and outer-rear on the B44.
The only other difference you really need to note is the rear inner camberlink ballstud. As the wishbone's inner hingepin is higher on the B44 - 4 washers on the BJ = 2 on the B44 ;)

Thanks for the detailed info Rich!
I used your B4 setup you posted a while back, which has worked brilliantly. I have just moved the rear shocks top position, out at the back, and its dialled!
Nice to know about the reduced number of washers on the B44, as I thought this was a bit of a weak point. I have yet to get hold of a one-way yet, but like the feel of them normally, and when I ran my xx4.
Thanks!

Happy to help ;)
I only use the one-way indoors now, outdoors I'll be running a diff in the front on most tracks - still the same base setup though.

So wots the advantage in running a diff outdoors? I allways thought the oneway was faster??

It is... but then the next lap it's slower. The diff is more consistent and safer on bumps and you have a bit more control in the air. There might be the odd corner here and there where a one-way would always be faster but on balance the diff is better ;)

Ok, so have you changed your setup to suit the diff?
Am running
front
40wt
Red Losi Piston
Silver spring
Rear
30wt
Orange losi Pison
Silver spring
and i quite like it that way
