What does a king-pin ball stud do to the handling of a 2wd car?

Pretty much the same as anything that lengthens the link from the outboard end.
I used to run one on the B3 to improve mid corner and corner exit steering.

OK, cheers, but didn't everyone? That was box stock on the B3.

Yeah the king pin ball stud was the only version you could have on the caster blocks
think the part number was 7211( i think)
i cut a set of b4 caster blocks down and and fitting b3 king pin ball studs for the x6.. it made the link very long ( even on the outter hole on the shock tower ) it also gave a more aggressive camber change in a bend

Mmmmm, I thought it was gonna probably change something else too, but that's cool.
So, it is also a nice way to add vertical ball stud adjustment to a car that doesn't have it? ;)
