I added a bit of a new "pro" look top to things, the main change being to the forum, to things look a little more integrated with all the pages now having a similar look to them.
Ok, its not perfect but it works well enough for now.:) feel free to let me know what you think of it.
Looking really cool matey, and also how much is advertising:confused:
DISGUSTING...... should of done it faaaaaaar sooner.... seriously, looks cool dude.

looks ace Jimmy, but the name buttons under the banner link the the wrong things
EDIT - good old F5, saves the day as well....
I was wondering why they were all a bit screwed up, for future referance Jimmy, best go with new names for any changed graphics, saves refresh issues :D

Ahhh, cheers chris, I am CTRL-Refreshing (forced refresh) all the time to see the changes out of habit so never even thought about that, oops. :jimmeh

to get back to the forum index from whatever forum page I'm on, I use the forum button on the button bar.
I managed to overlook the actual webpage index however (the one with the rotating action shots) so I made the entire logo at the top link back to that main page no matter which page you are on.

on my laptop screen, I see a miss-match of the BG colour on the forum, and on your banner at the top

Hmm, I will have to look into that. I think some browsers / video cards can interpret the web colours slightly differently. It used to happen on old browsers all the time.
anyone else see that ?

Yes i see it too.

It probably only shows up on certain colour modes / cards / monitors. I have 4 monitors and cant see it on any.
Having said that I got a screen capture in photoshop and there is indeed a slight hue shift on the logo background. I'll fix it tonight. Thanks guys.

Jimmy, i have noticed that the ad banner below the main logo, appears to move about, when in the forum its resting on the links text, but when in different areas of the site, it is more equaly spaced between the main logo and the links text.
Btw i am using firefox, and well done on the update looks proper pro.

Cheers mate. I have no idea about the banner placement tbh, the code is the same.
I'll figure it out eventually! :)
Perhaps the ads are a differnt size
Maybe a few pix outs;)

I'm bad, but now that bad! lol. they are all the same. they just move about because of some formatting introduced by vbulletin. I'll figure it out one day hehe

I like the new look, it seems to bring the whole website together, and the new banners are all miz-teeq looking!

Hi Jimmy I love the new look, wish I could do the fancy shinny logo’s and stuff you do, it’s very clever indeed!
Only thing I would say and I’m not sure if this is down to my internet settings, but see the attached image, a few things are a bit out of line and possibly the adverts could be repositioned with equal spacing in the gap provided. I’m a real fussy git when it comes to layout so feel free to ignore me, also if it’s just my settings then ignore me huh.
Top job anyway, when you building me a ‘pay to view’ video site? Ha ha
EDIT: my images are set to printers CMYK format, I keep forgetting!

can you email me that jpg ? I cant seem to view it :| not a CMYK piccie is it ?
spacing needs a lil work I think, thats my fault though. I'm no expert on it but I'll get round to fixing it eventually. There is too much space for the banner ad to move around at the moment, I need to make a banner-sized gap for it so it cant possibly move ! :)

It was me being a spaz, all my work goes to printers see so I always export in CMYK format, I'm not used to RGB... RGB needs to be avoided at all costs in my line of work!

AH now I see your picture.. thanks for that.. yea the banner ad is spot-o and I spent a bit of time fixing it. Sadly though Firefox browser works properly, Internet Explorer likes to move things about - hence what you are seeing.
The only way to fix it is like I said, make the area for the banner so it cant possibly move around.
Will get round to it soon.:)
This is what I see:

What you can see is much better, thought you would have it right and it was just how I could see it.
What about my ‘pay to view’ video site then, almost finished it? :thumrigh:

For the reviews, after they are "done" I have to go thru them adding blank invisible spacers to stop IE from breaking everything and making it look naff.
Firefox always works like it's supposed to though.
bathysvidz.com ?! I like it, lets go! :p
OK Jimmy, I got an idea, I noticed, that you have used 2 seperate images for the header, with gap between them. If you use photoshop, printscreen that image, and crop it down to the required size, do this to the full header, and for every ad. Slice it up. Then lets say you slice it up into 3 images, rotate the ad slice. It will ahve 0 gaps, and should sisplay the same in all browsers. If you dont know what the hell I am on about:D Then e-mail me the PSD, and I'll show you what I mean;)

haha, you really did lose me there dude!!
I have fixed it though - but 'll probably change the artwork a little so I've not updated the title on the site yet. I just choppped it into 4 peices that surround the banner advert with no gaps. Seems to work perfectly in the browsers ive tried it with.
I have no idea what the hell any of you are on about!! But the site seems to work and look superb in aol's browser:)
