Default New look

I added a bit of a new "pro" look top to things, the main change being to the forum, to things look a little more integrated with all the pages now having a similar look to them.

Ok, its not perfect but it works well enough for now. feel free to let me know what you think of it.

looks ace Jimmy, but the name buttons under the banner link the the wrong things

EDIT - good old F5, saves the day as well....

I was wondering why they were all a bit screwed up, for future referance Jimmy, best go with new names for any changed graphics, saves refresh issues

to get back to the forum index from whatever forum page I'm on, I use the forum button on the button bar.
I managed to overlook the actual webpage index however (the one with the rotating action shots) so I made the entire logo at the top link back to that main page no matter which page you are on.

on my laptop screen, I see a miss-match of the BG colour on the forum, and on your banner at the top

Hmm, I will have to look into that. I think some browsers / video cards can interpret the web colours slightly differently. It used to happen on old browsers all the time.
anyone else see that ?

It probably only shows up on certain colour modes / cards / monitors. I have 4 monitors and cant see it on any.

Having said that I got a screen capture in photoshop and there is indeed a slight hue shift on the logo background. I'll fix it tonight. Thanks guys.

Jimmy, i have noticed that the ad banner below the main logo, appears to move about, when in the forum its resting on the links text, but when in different areas of the site, it is more equaly spaced between the main logo and the links text.

Btw i am using firefox, and well done on the update looks proper pro.

Cheers mate. I have no idea about the banner placement tbh, the code is the same.

I'll figure it out eventually!

I like the new look, it seems to bring the whole website together, and the new banners are all miz-teeq looking!

Hi Jimmy I love the new look, wish I could do the fancy shinny logo’s and stuff you do, it’s very clever indeed!

Only thing I would say and I’m not sure if this is down to my internet settings, but see the attached image, a few things are a bit out of line and possibly the adverts could be repositioned with equal spacing in the gap provided. I’m a real fussy git when it comes to layout so feel free to ignore me, also if it’s just my settings then ignore me huh.

Top job anyway, when you building me a ‘pay to view’ video site? Ha ha

EDIT: my images are set to printers CMYK format, I keep forgetting!
