has anyone got any pics of a Pb ace, I use to have one when i was a kid but never got it going well due to funds, bad building and lack of driving ability, I cant find any info online about this car at all, Not even on google!!!

I saw one on ebay once - many years ago. They can't have made many as I've never seen anything about them since.. I think you'll probably find a few photos on tamiyaclub.com though.

I'm pretty sure the 2 speed was an option as i dont remember one on mine, but that was 19 years ago, sold everything i owned to buy it, then couldnt get a lift to the club anymore, i cant even remember what happened to it in the end. I remember it had the motor at the back, 3 belts and alloy housings. I always wanted a maxima, "life was so much simpler at 15"

I have my old pb mustang in my parents loft......think I may have a look for it now:woot:. If I remeber right back in those days the mustang was so week we used to make a new front bumper for it useing full sized car bumper material .......once we had nicked the VW badge of the car first.....hmmmm them were the days. I had one of the first cats to the short one. Hell of a car for it's time!

ralls racing was my dads shop back in the mid 80's to early 90's, he made a few upgrades for the mustang and maxima to help strenthen and improve them they were oneway drvishafts and alloy front hubs, i have some driveshafts so will post a pic of them but dont have the hubs as havent found any yet, once the car is complete i will turn up at a york vintage race with it and be brave lol. if i can find any old pics of brens or mine i will post them for u as well

From what i remember the early one way ends never used to be fixed so when you had a crash you had to look on the track for the missing one way end:mad: The later shafts were fixed into the ends but not sure how they were held in. I may have some one way shafts some where might be used though.
Does anyone have a single speed layshaft for a mustang/maxima?
Cheers James.

I have a load of PB bits NIP that i got in a deal from an ex-racer, and one full car RTR apart from a shell, well there was a shell, but there were three cars so not sure which it was from.
Anybody handy for York wants to dig through be my guest.
