you would be lookin at 15t pinion on an 87 spur but i would not recommend that as it would sound horrible when meshed.
i have loads of 96 spurs if you would like me to send you some.

hey steve chris again i accidently stripped my 96t spur (battery wire got caught)so ive gone to an 87t spur what pinion do you recomend trf501x 5.5 ezrun small pulleys any help would be greatly appreciated

The 17/96 ratio sounds bang on if you are running big pulleys if not try 16t pinion on small pulleys
as for a 10t brushed i used to run on 19/96 on big pulleys and 17 96 on small

hey steve ,just a quick question im running a ezrun 5.5t in my trf501x mate it cracks did have a 17t pinion and 87t spur did get a little hot now running 17 with the kit 96t spur havent been out yet as it is pissing down rain just wondering what you would run as you come across a bit of a guru also can you suggest gearing for a 10 turn brushed or lower am running outside on reasonably sized track any info would be much appreciated regard chris
