You could try doing the calibration on the flight...

You could try doing the calibration on the flight controller again,make sure the quad is 100% level whilst doing it .(it took me a couple of times to get it right)
Also check everything is striaght...

Found a app for ios and android called rc race...

Found a app for ios and android called rc race timer .
It works from accelerometer and it announces lap times . Not bad for free.

Setting it up as reverse servo on the controller will be fine, I would re calibrate the esc with the controller again just make sure everything is set neutral on your trims and check the epa is set...
