K1 Aero front stub axles?
Does anyone do a front stub axle so i can convert my car into a 2wd without having to butcher a pair of front driveshafts up?

Why not use the yokes and hub carriers from a Cougar? I'm thinking of doing this with a spare CAT SX2 that I have. Schumacher make both plastic and ally versions of them, obviously the stub axles that fit in the hub carriers are ally too. You might need to modify the wishbones a little but it should work. Take a look at the exploded parts diagram of a Cougar KF on the Schumacher website (www.racing-cars.com) for the part numbers.

Looking at the KF manual Step 30, it looks like the stub axle might fit into the CAT hub?
They are the same size bearing but the question is are they the right length? If they are them fab! |
