Default Batley Buggy Club / North West

Following a meeting of the club officials it has been decided that Batley Buggy Club do not wish to be involved in the 2012 North West Regional Series.

We feel that it is not appropriate for the club at this time to be involved in politics and negative forum activity; therefore we have withdrawn from the 2012 series.

We feel it is more appropriate for the club to continue in the direction we have been going with regular club meeting, under 13 class, 2 NE regional and intend to reintroduce the Super Cup during the summer.

Stephen,

Whist I appreciate the fact the club was willing to run with the North West regionals and I understand that you don’t want to “get involved in negative politics and negative forum activity” I feel this is not the best place to state the clubs intent for wanting to run with the North West regional’s then the club changing its mind completely out of the blue a few weeks before these events start, as your asking for negativity with this statement and the club pulling out, this should have come from a regional rep not from you.

I also would like to point out that you’re running one of the biggest indoor events over the winter at Chadderton which is in the North West not the North East so IMO I consider Batley as part of the North West group (I release that is just out of the region) with this in mind I urge you to reconsider this decision.

Woody, what’s going on?

I'm fairly sure this thread is intended solely as a method of communicating Batley Buggy Club's decision and to keep people informed of such.

I would ask that all forum users respect this and keep any comments sensible and to the point.

Never seen this done before. A loss to the north west region. Looks like some people in the region have lost sight that at the end of the day it's model car racing and is meant to be FUN.
