LRP sent news of their success at round 3 of the BRCA Micro National series at the WRCC track. This was the biggest entry for a BRCA Micro Nationals so far this season. Long-time LRP team driver Chris Doughty had a busy time during the 3 qualifyings out of a very busy heat. 7 out of the 10 A finalists were running the LRP SHARK-18 Race Monster, the car was very competitive in the hands of both team drivers and customers.
![]() ![]() The finals were run over 2 mains, both counting, with any ties on scores decided by fastest single race time of either final. The track proved to be very difficult to drive. Fast, tight and technical and the LRP SHARK-18 proved to be able to deal with anything with ease. Mark Styles with another LRP SHARK-18 took the win in 1st final with Chris Doughty in 2nd place. In the end of the 2nd action packed final Chris Doughty found himself in 2nd position again but this time with Mark Styles in 3rd place. This meant that both Chris Doughty and Mark Styles had same total points and in the end a tie had to decide the winner. Thanks to a very quick 2nd main, Chris Doughty took the win with Mark Styles in 2nd position. Source: LRP
