Default Dremel

Treating myself to a dremel this christmas and just wonding what peoples opinions are on what I've chosen, I've narrowed it down to one of these two:

http://www.dremel-direct.com/acatalo..._Ion_8000.html

http://www.dremel-direct.com/acatalo...cessories.html

First one runs off it's own power source but second runs off mains both have their advantages... which would you choose and why I'm horendous at making decisions like this

I'd go for the 10.8v Li-ion one.
Bought one last year and never regretted it.

I got the 1st one you linked not so long ago, it's a very handy thing to have in the tool box and it's been used for a couple of things around the house too. I picked mine up from Screwfix.

the mains one is most powerfull, the battery one is a good portable one with good power, the stylus is good for detailing but not as powerfull as the middle one. If ur at worksop i can let you try all from our demo/Loan tools.

Default cordless is king

I have had the cordless li ion one for about 9 months and its spot on.

I have been told to get the drill style chuck mech but it works well as standard imo.

Cheers Drew

multichuck is a good addition, no collets needed perfect for small drill bits etc
