Default Wheel Options

Hi all,

Are there any none Tamiya wheels that fit on the 501x (and presumably the Durga)? I've heard Losi ones fit but I thought the hex's/pins were different sizes, although I may be wrong?

Losi and all other "Losi fit" wheels will fit, small hex on the front and pin drive on the rear.

Losi wheels are fine, as are the J concepts wheels for the BJ4. Some stores are now stocking the Tamiya wheels as the durga seems to be better supported and the price for the tamiya wheels is quite fair.

I think Losi rims fit even a little better than the Tamiya rims

Question Which are Stronger??

I have used Losi wheels myself.. Does any one here think the Losi are stronger wheels than the 501X kit supplied??

i have the worlds car and the part number for the wheels is the smae as the db01, so my guess is that if the part numbers are differant then maybe the normal kit ones are not as good but the worlds/durga ones are spot on and cheap!
